9DPO & Day Off from Debbie Downer

Hey guys,

Man, am I only at 9DPO? What is it about week 2 that makes time.....slow.....dowwwwwwwn.

Today is going to be different. Today I am going to indulge the silly symptoms, and keep the faith alive. (Even though symptoms are so few, and most I've experienced with the past two BFNs).

So, here are the symptoms (imaginary or real!) I've had since the IUI:

1) Tiny cramping in the ovary area

2) Tiny (and occasionally searing) cramping in my uterus area, or maybe it's just right behind my pelvic bone? (TMI, but sometimes the twinges feel like someone is pulling a pubic hair....am I the only one who's felt that?)

3) Slightly more tired than usual, but it's on and off

4) A possibly weird taste in my mouth. But....I daresay this was not a symptom. I'd eaten some exotic foods at lunch, so maybe it was lingering.

And now for my favorites (which are new this cycle):

5) Yesterday, I had superman-strength sense of smell. I was two bedrooms away, and Becky opened up a box of leftover pizza in the kitchen. Apparently, within 30 seconds of her opening the box (which held a 5" cube of pizza, that's it).....I shouted "What the eff is that horrible smell? It smells like puke!!!!" It was her pizza. How the heck did I smell it so quickly, across two rooms? That was my only super sense of smell so far.

6) I haven't had ONE headache/migraine since we IUI'd. Bear in mind I suffer chronic migraines, and can get them 3x a week. The last two cycles, I was MISERABLE, suffering from migraines at least 4-5x during the TWW. I've hardly ever gone a week without a migraine....ever in my LIFE. And I've now gone a total of 10 days without a migraine. Either I'm just damned lucky, or my estrogen is increasing due to being pregnant. I know several women with the same condition, and their migraines went away with pregnancy! (Seriously, this is reason enough for me to get knocked up constantly until menopause. Perhaps this is what Mrs Duggar suffers from, and then I understand the 200 kids she's popped out)

Not to mention, I've been lucky lately. I've won $33 with the last two lottery tickets I've bought, I found money in the street a few times, and won two $100 gift cards at work within a week! Really really good things are happening to me.

Today I am keeping the faith. Most of these symptoms I've had every month, and Lord knows there are a million common, early symptoms I'm NOT feeling..... but screw it. Today is a holiday from Debbie Downer. :)
